What Steady Lift stores, and who can see it

What we keep

Your email address, and what you log: workouts, sets, weights, reps, effort, notes, templates, exercise edits and settings. No name, no location, no contacts, no tracking or analytics scripts. Notes are free text and are stored as typed, so keep anything you wouldn't want stored (an injury, a medical detail) out of them.

Who can see it

You, on your signed-in devices. The person who runs this copy of Steady Lift (the owner) can see the database it lives in, including your workouts. Nobody else has access, and nothing is sold or shared.

Where it lives

On a server in the European Union, over an encrypted connection. Sign-in is by a six-digit code emailed to you; the code is stored hashed, expires in ten minutes, and works once. There are no passwords to leak.

Backups and deletion

The database is backed up nightly and backups are kept for 30 days. You can export everything you logged from Settings at any time, and delete your account there too: that removes all of it immediately, and it drops out of the backups within 30 days.

Email

Sign-in codes and your invitation are sent through a transactional email provider, which sees your address and the message, nothing else. You will never receive anything else from Steady Lift.

Questions go to the person who invited you.
